Scruff of the Neck management bands Cassia and Larkins commence their huge tours of the UK this week.
Combined, the two bands head out around the UK to play to a total of 11,400 people, following on from hugely successful festival seasons for the pair.
After appearing at the likes of Reading & Leeds, Y Not? Festival and SXSW, they will play 46 shows around the UK and Ireland before the end of 2019.
Larkins
Larkins commenced their huge run of dates with a stunning hometown show at the o2 Ritz for Neighbourhood Festival, before their first headline date on Wednesday 16 October at The Venue in Derby.
Their biggest dates include visits to Glasgow’s King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, The Wardrobe in Leeds and London’s Garage.
Trips to Edinburgh (Sneaky Pete’s) and Birmingham (Sunflower Lounge) have sold out already, and their shows at Leadmill in Sheffield and The Fulford Arms in York are also being promoted by Scruff of the Neck’s Live division.
Cassia
Meanwhile, Cassia’s tour dates begin the night before Larkins as they headline Open in Norwich, following a huge European tour in September.
They played 17 shows in 20 days across 6 different countries on their biggest ever tour of the continent before a well-earned break ahead of their 12-date UK run.
Highlights of the tour include shows at Scala in London, SWG3 in Glasgow and a massive hometown headline at Manchester Cathedral, while shows in Birmingham (Hare & Hounds), Liverpool (Zanzibar), Bristol (Thekla) and their first ever trip to Dublin (Whelan’s) have all sold out in advance.
Fellow management act Alfie Neale will be joining Cassia for a number of their tour dates, starting with their visit to Leeds’ Wardrobe on the second night of the tour. Marsicans and Tom Gibson join the party for the biggest night of the tour in Manchester, while a host of local supports have also been announced.
