Scruff of the Neck Management band The Reytons‘ tour has sold out three dates, just days after it was announced.
Following on from a huge hometown sell-out at the o2 Academy in Sheffield, The Reytons have announced their 2020 spring UK tour, presented by Scruff of the Neck Live.
They announced the tour in incredible fashion, with a cup draw-style video featuring Gordon Hill, commonly known as the Wealdstone Raider. Watch the video here.
Biggest Tour Yet
Heading around the whole of the UK between February and April, they will take in 12 cities, with three already completely sold out.
Opener Leeds – the biggest night of the tour – sold out within 48 hours, Nottingham and Manchester following closely behind.
Glasgow, London, Birmingham and Newcastle are also getting close, with over 60% of tickets already sold within five days of the initial announcement.
An Incredible Movement
This is just the latest in an astronomical rise for the Sheffield four-piece, since playing their first ever gig as a band in May 2017 where they supported now-fellow Scruff of the Neck Management band Glass Caves in Sheffield.
Adding their names to a stellar list of independent bands who have sold out Sheffield’s iconic Leadmill venue, they went one better by selling out the o2 Academy two months in advance.
A busy summer saw huge sets at Tramlines and Y Not? Festival among others, while also appearing in session for Distiller TV and seeing Inbetweeners actress Tamla Kari star in the music video for Wide Eyes and Halos.
